Google Integration Disclosure
How NewEdge360 connects Google Search Console, Site Verification and Analytics to a managed website.
Last updated 22 October 2026
Connecting Google is optional. NewEdge360 shows the requested permissions before sending an administrator to Google, and the administrator may cancel or disconnect at any time.
01
What the integration does
NewEdge360 uses Google APIs to verify control of a managed website, add or inspect its Search Console property, submit its sitemap, read Analytics reports, and create or configure the Analytics account, property and web stream selected by an authorised administrator.
02
Permissions requested
The integration requests access to manage Search Console sites and sitemaps, read Analytics reports, edit the selected Analytics configuration, verify the website, and read the connected Google account identity. NewEdge360 checks that every required permission was granted and does not activate an incomplete connection.
03
Google data received
NewEdge360 receives the connected Google account identifier and email address, the granted permission list, Search Console site and sitemap information, site-verification responses, Analytics resource identifiers and the Analytics reporting data requested in the CMS.
04
How the data is used
Google data is used only to provide and support the website integration requested by the customer. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to determine creditworthiness, or used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. Human access is limited to support, security or legal needs and is subject to access controls.
05
Storage and protection
The long-lived Google refresh token is encrypted at rest. Access tokens are short-lived and are not stored as customer records. Account and resource identifiers are kept with the tenant-owned website binding, and service access follows tenant and permission controls.
06
Disconnecting and deletion
An authorised administrator can disconnect Google in NewEdge360. NewEdge360 then requests revocation from Google and deletes its stored refresh token, Google account identity, granted-permission list and connected-resource identifiers. A Google user may also revoke access from the permissions page in their Google Account; if Google expires or revokes the grant, NewEdge360 stops automated access and requires reconnection.
07
Limited Use
NewEdge360’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
08
Your responsibility
Connect only a Google account that you are authorised to use for the website and Analytics resources. You remain responsible for the website’s privacy notice, lawful basis and consent controls when Google Analytics is enabled for visitors.
