NewEdge360 CMS connection support

Get help connecting ChatGPT, choosing the right access level, resolving a connection problem or removing access.

Connect safely

  1. Sign in to the CMS website you are authorised to manage.
  2. Open AI, then ChatGPT connection.
  3. Choose read-only or draft access and set an expiry.
  4. Add the displayed MCP endpoint and one-time bearer token in ChatGPT.

Do not send the bearer token by email or paste it into public content.

Remove access

Open the same ChatGPT connection screen in the CMS and select Revoke. Revocation takes effect for subsequent requests. You can also remove the connection from ChatGPT.

If a token may have been exposed, revoke it immediately and create a replacement.

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm the endpoint uses HTTPS and ends in /mcp/.
  • Confirm bearer-token authentication is selected.
  • Check that the connection has not expired or been revoked.
  • Confirm the CMS user who created it is still an active staff user.

Content safety

Draft tools never publish content. Review every generated draft for accuracy, confidentiality, rights, accessibility and brand fit before publishing it from the CMS.

The connection does not provide access to forms, submissions, user administration or stored credentials.

Contact and data requests

Use the NewEdge360 contact form for technical support, privacy questions, access requests or deletion requests. Include the website domain and connection name, but never include the bearer token. Existing customers can also sign in and open contextual Help & Knowledge from their workspace.
